RESEARCH INTEREST
My current interest is in the synthesis, functionalization and characterization of materials from clay, kenaf and agriculture waste such as rice husk (RH), rice husk ash (RHA) and empty fruit bunch (EFB). The materials will be functionalized using organic and inorganic elements.
The functionalized materials will be used as a heterogeneous catalysts in liquid and gas phase and drug carrier.
RESEARCH TOPICS
- Synthesis an characterization of chemically modified clay, kenaf, RH, RHA and EFB and their application in catalysis.
- Synthesis an characterization of chemically modified kenaf, RH, RHA and EFB and their application as a drug carrier.
