Dr. Siti Fatimah Nur Abdul Aziz is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Chemical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). She obtained her Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Pure Chemistry, Master of Science, and Doctor of Philosophy from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). Prior to joining USM in 2023, she served as a Research Officer at the Centre of Research in Ionic Liquids (CORIL), Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), and as a part-time lecturer at UPM. Her research interests include electroanalytical chemistry, electrochemical sensors and biosensors, nanomaterials, and metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) for environmental and analytical applications. Her work focuses on the development of modified electrode platforms for the detection of pesticides, heavy metals, plasticizers, and biomolecules. Dr. Siti Fatimah Nur has received recognition as an Early Career Chemist and delegate to the 3rd Commonwealth Chemistry Congress, South Africa, in 2025. She is also a member of the scientific advisory board of the Journal of Experimental and Laboratory Medicine and a Chartered Chemist (ChM) under the Malaysian Institute of Chemistry (IKM).
