Research

REsearch Interest

I am broadly interested in separation chemistry with particular emphasis on the development of online preconcentration techniques for capillary electrophoresis, microextraction and synthesise of new sorbent materials for environmental pollutants, food conatminants and pharmaceutical analysis. In particular, my research interests are shaped by the emerging trend towards sustainability of environments and food safety. My research agenda focuses on the question of how to increase the sensitivity and efficiency of the detection of trace elements in environments and foods.

REsearch ToPICS

Materials synthesis for adsorption, sample preparation techniques for environment and food analysis and separation sciences.
