Dr. NORAZZIZI NORDIN

Senior Lecturer

I am a senior lecturer at Analytical Chemistry Unit, School of Chemical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia. My research focuses on the potential application of nanomaterials as an active electrode in the wastewater treatment. In particular, I am interested in fabrication and performance evaluation of low-cost electrodes using carbonaceous and composite materials in the electrochemical degradation of hazardous pollutants. In addition to this primary line of research, I am also interested in design and development of electrochemically synthesized metal-based nanomaterials as antitumor agents. For this project, I am interested in chemical modification of organic anticancer drugs with fatty acids in Cu nanoscale delivery. In my free time I enjoy listening to music and spending time with my family.
