MoA signing for the establishment of USM-UL Centre

On 19th of August 2019, the memorandum of agreement (MOA) for the establishment of USM-UL Centre was signed between Universiti Sains Malaysia and Universite de Lorraine. The establishment of USM-UL Centre is also to celebrate the 20th years of collaboration between USM and UL (started from the School of Chemical Sciences, USM). Present at the ceremony were Prof. Datuk Dr. Asma Ismail, FASc (Vice Chancellor of USM), Prof. Pierre Mutzenhardt (President of Universite de Lorraine), Dr. Philippe Arnaud (Attaché of Scientific and University Cooperation, Embassy of France in Malaysia), Prof. Ir. Dr. Abdul Rahman Mohamed, FASc (Deputy Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation, USM), Prof. Frederic Villieras (Vice President for Scientific Council, UL), Prof. Karl Tombre (Vice-President for European and International Strategy, UL), Prof. Rohana Adnan (Dean, School of Chemical Sciences, USM), Prof. Stephane Flament (Dean, Faculte des Science et Technologies, UL), Honorary Prof. Dr. Afidah Abdul Rahim (Chairperson, USM-UL Colloquium 2019) and Dr. Mohd. Hazwan Hussin (Coordinator, USM-UL Collaboration)
